The Arbor Day Foundation
The Arbor Day Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the first Arbor Day. It focuses on reforestation, urban forestry, and tree recovery efforts in communities across the United States and around the world. The organization serves as the primary modern extension of Arbor Day, translating recognition of trees into ongoing conservation work.
